How Did We Get Here?
The No Existense Band formed in 2005 after brothers Gabe and Monty met Casey through a neighbor who had Casey in her class at school. She was telling Casey that she knew a couple of boys that could play guitar and drums. He made arrangements to go meet them. They hit it off right away and began to learn songs like Crazy Train by Ozzy Osbourne, Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Rainbow in the Dark by Dio. As Gabe and Monty's younger sister, Lexy, was growing older she was brought in to sing Heartbreaker by Pat Benatar, Magic Man by Heart, and back up vocals for Sweet Home Alabama by Lynyrd Skynyrd. No Existense had their first gig at Paidea preschool in Oakdale, MN and the crowd loved them. They continued to play over the next 2 years for the Wishes N More benefits held in both the Spring and Summer, and then on to Sturgis, SD for the bike rally. They are still learning new tunes and continue to grow in their music by writing some of their own music. They would still like to get a permanent bass player and singer to join them as they have been fortunate to have their musically talented Dad's helping them with this but plan on having more of their own band singing and songwriting some day. Interested singers and bass players can contact the band by e-mailing them at clgang@comcast.net.
